Let us introduce ourselves

Dear colleagues,

The Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine together with the Department of Vascular Surgery have started to investigate the efficacy of neuroprotective concepts in the prevention of spinal cord injury following Thoracic Endovascular Aortic Repair (TEVAR) with a focus on cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) drainage. This project is endorsed by the European Association of Cardiothoracic Anaesthesiology (EACTA)

The research project has been entitled as:
Cerebrospinal fluid drAinage in the prevention of SPinal cord injury following tEvaR”  CASPER

It takes 10 minutes of your time

Your input is important to us

It is one important part of the CASPER research project to get more knowledge about the current practice of neuroprotection in TEVAR procedures among European hospitals.

The CASPER Research Group, in cooperation with the EACTA subcommittee ‘Vascular anaesthesia’, have developed a questionnaire that will give us more insights in your current practice. This project is done with the support of the scientific committee of the EACTA.

Filling in the questionnaire will take only around 10 minutes of your valuable time but will help us (and finally you) a lot in getting more information around neuroprotection in TEVAR procedures.

Your valuable cooperation is highly appreciated

Thank you!
